TROY WALDEN

Raised in Jacksonville, Troy Walden is a visual artist and educator, with a background in painting and drawing. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art from the University of North Florida in 2022. For his work, he was lauded with the Lu Ann and Doran Weinstein Memorial Scholarship during his undergraduate studies and has exhibited in multiple group exhibitions. His prior experiences include museum practices as the Gallery Assistant at the University of North Florida Galleries, illustrating for non-profits, and teaching classes for MOCA's summer camp program. Since October 2022, he has served as MOCA Museum Educator where he teaches children's workshops and art camps, assists with organizing and operating educational programs, and is a liaison between the MOCA's Education Department and the University of North Florida.
