INSIGNIFICANT SIGNIFICANCE

JESS WOJCIK, Insignificant Significance, 2022. Oil on fabric, 4 x 8 ft. From Art + Politics: Grounding Dialogs, Blocktober 2022.

We are human.
We are flesh.
We are electricity.
We came from atoms, and to atoms, we will return.
The end is inevitable.
All we have is now. Make it matter.

  • Recognize your insignificance to the universe, and become significant to yourself for yourself.
  • Acknowledge your link to the universe.
  • Accept that only you can determine the purpose of your existence.

You are made of living things recycled a billion times over.
