MULTIPLE ONES: CONTEMPOARY PERSPECTIVES IN PRINTMEDIA

JULY 1, 2020 - MARCH 21, 2021

Multiple Ones: Contemporary Perspectives in Printmedia, features the work of contemporary printmakers, highlighting the multitude of possibilities that printmaking holds as a medium. This exhibition presents printmaking in a fresh and indisputably current way.

The centuries-old medium is traditionally associated with flat works on paper produced in mechanical iterations. The works featured here demonstrate how contemporary artists are breaking away from the traditional techniques associated with the art form, to produce unique works through unconventional methods, materials, and display.

This exhibition was curated by Sheila Goloborotko, Professor of Printmaking at University of North Florida. It was previously shown at the Hunterdon Art Museum, Clinton, New Jersey, and in the Kwan Fong Gallery of Art and Culture and William Rolland Gallery of Fine Art at California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks, California.
