Transformational learning opportunities await

MOCA Jacksonville provides University of North Florida students with many opportunities to broaden and deepen their education. MOCA functions as an academic think tank for the art, artists, and ideas of our time, and students are invited to take part.

Free admission

MOCA Jacksonville provides free admission to the galleries throughout the year for students with current UNF identification.

Shuttle to Downtown Art Walk

UNF provides a shuttle to MOCA Jacksonville on the first Wednesday of each month, allowing students to experience the Museum and all of Downtown Art Walk.

Classes at MOCA

Several UNF classes are held at the Museum throughout the academic year.

UNF Student-in-residence

Seniors in the Department of Art and Design may apply for this highly competitive opportunity that awards access to a MOCA Jacksonville studio and exhibition space to complete a new body of work and hone skills over the course of a final semester.

UNF Gallery at MOCA

UNF faculty curate exhibitions in this space on MOCA Jacksonville's second floor. The Museum holds free receptions for the opening of each of these exhibitions with opportunities to meet the artists.

Public programs

MOCA Jacksonville holds dozens of free events throughout the year, including artist talks, film screenings, concerts, and performances.

Class tours

MOCA Jacksonville partners with UNF faculty to provide tours specifically designed for the content of those classes.


MOCA Jacksonville offers several internship opportunities throughout the year in marketing, photography, curatorial, education, and operations.
