What to expect on my museum visit?

At MOCA Jacksonville, we are dedicated to making your experience safe and enjoyable. At this time, MOCA Jacksonville is open to visitors at limited capacity of 50 visitors. Please see below for more information.



Am I required to wear a mask?

All staff and museum visitors over the age of two years old are expected to wear a mask or face covering while inside the museum. All visitors are required to check in at the front desk.

What if I am feeling unwell?

If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you please stay home and seek medical attention if necessary. Please do not visit the museum if you have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, headache, chills, muscle pain or loss of taste or sense of smell. If you have been exposed or tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, we ask you that you do not visit the museum.

Will someone take my temperature when I enter MOCA?

No. At this time, we are not taking the temperature of guests or staff.

Will there be hand sanitizer available?

Yes. Hand sanitizer is available at stations throughout the museum.

Are there special cleaning protocols in place?

Yes. The museum is cleaned throughout the day at regular intervals utilizing CDC approved cleaning solutions. Special attention to high touch areas and following museum programs is prioritized.

How do I check-in for my virtual tour?

After you register for your exhibition virtual tour, we will send you a link by email to be able to access your tour. 

Can I renew or purchase a museum membership at the museum?

Yes. We will have no-touch online purchasing available at the front desk for museum membership and renewals.

Is the 5th floor Loft Art Explorium open?

No. The 5th floor is temporarily closed to the public.


Is the CAFÉ open?

No. The CAFÉ is closed at this time.
