Art Aviators is an educational initiative designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other exceptionalities. While children with ASD struggle with verbal communication, social relations, and sensory development, creative art-making activities enable them to foster new means of self-expression and communication. 

MOCA Jacksonville's Voice of the People is an innovative, literacy-based educational arts initiative that hones critical thinking and communication skills as it develops a deeper understanding of contemporary art. Fourth-graders write and record audio guides for selections from the Permanent Collection.

The MOCA Jacksonville-University of North Florida partnership enlightens, inspires, and transforms the lives of students, faculty, MOCA audiences, and the greater community by shaping a deeper recognition and appreciation of the art, artists, and ideas of our time and their relationship to other disciplines.
