Take your carving skills to the next level. In this advanced workshop, we will be learning how to create multiple layers and colors through the reduction process. In reduction all colors come from the same block, as the image area is reduced with each color. Participants will develop a 2-color image from the same 5”x7” block, and print an edition of 5. Have an image idea in mind and come ready to carve. All materials included.

Must have taken Studio Practice - Intro to Relief Printmaking or have prior lino-cutting experience.

Want to continue your printmaking at home? Add $25 to your registration fee to keep your supply kit, including carving tool, ink, brayer, paper, wooden spoon, and 2 pieces of linoleum.
