Learn how to create a narrative in ceramics through texture with local artist Aisling Millar McDonald in MOCA's Studios
About this event
During this month’s workshop, participants will learn ceramics techniques and use texture as a form of visual language to explore a moment of time and memory. They may bring in an inspirational object(s) with them or select one that has been gathered
for this workshop. Together students will explore composition, symbolism, and texture, to create a narrative abstract work.
Studio Practice is a monthly series of hands-on, practical art classes where students of all levels learn to create in varying
media with the instruction of a local artist.
