Glenn Kaino With Drawn Arms MOCA Movie Night Jeremy Dean Mini-Series Event Calendar

Please join us for the limited-time return of our online screening series MOCA Movie Night in conjunction with our upcoming exhibition Neither I, Nor Time, Nor History by artist Jeremy Dean. This series includes an exclusive line-up of three analogous independent films. Offering titles from acclaimed artists Jeremy Dean, Glenn Kaino, and Gillian Laub; this series traces the fight for racial equity, particularly in the South, and explores the connection between ignorance and innocence as it relates to the Civil Rights movement.

With Drawn Arms is a documentary by Glenn Kaino. It features an intimate conversation with Tommie Smith, the gold medalist who is known for raising his fist after accepting a medal at the '68 Olympic games in protest of racial inequality. Tommie Smith reflects on the moment that helped define a movement.
