Robert Monsky is a native of Jacksonville where he graduated from The Bolles School and went on to get his Bachelor of Science from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. After a successful decade working on Wall Street for Bear Stearns and Sandler O'Neil, he returned to Jacksonville and presently serves as president and partner of First Florida Capital Corporation and as an affiliate partner of the New York-based investment firm Lindsay Goldberg. Monsky was a founding board member of the Jacksonville Film Festival from its inception in 2002 until 2012 and a founding board member of Art with a Heart in Healthcare. He enjoys cityscapes and works by Alexander Calder.
