Chase Zimmerman is a community volunteer who is active in many organizations in Jacksonville. A graduate of the University of Mississippi, Chase serves on the board of directors for the Pace Center for Girls. She served as a host committee member for Teach for America's “Lighting the Path” celebration in February 2019, marking 10 years of the organization's work in Jacksonville. She served as a co-chairwoman of the North Florida School of Special Education's 2019 “Heart of the Runway” event. She also has served as the assistant secretary/treasurer of the Jewish Community Alliance.
She is married to Morrie Zimmerman, the president and CEO of the Jacksonville-based Far East Brokers and Consultants Inc., an importer of seasonal general and promotional merchandise, largely sold at grocery stores. She and her husband have two children: a son, Bennett; and a daughter, Wendell.
