It's not too early to think about the holidays ahead. NOLA MOCA's Holiday Cocktail Tasting is a festive way to lift your spirits while gathering great ideas for your own party.

Sample some fabulous twists on traditional holiday bites. The salmon cured with beets, horseradish, and St. Augustine Distillery Gin pairs well with fresh dill, sieved egg, rye toasts, crème fraiche, pickled vegetables, capers, and brunoise red onion. The wild mushroom and pecan pâté served warm on crispy crostini has an earthy flavor that is wildly addictive. Learn how to choose and arrange cheeses for a dazzling display. Porchata panna cotta served in miniature cups creates a sweet, creamy conclusion.

Get in the holiday spirit-literally-with some wintery cocktails. Try the Permanent Holiday with Buffalo Trace BourbonAmaro Averna, and Licor 43. Or savor a Sunshine Pine with Marlin & Barrel  Vodka and Blossom Orangecello. Sip a warm winter sangria of pino grigio, Bacardi Silver Rum, and a cornucopia of fresh fruit. Top that off with a couple of seasonal beers.
