Susan Ober was born and raised in Virginia. Before moving to North Florida in 1987, she had earned a bachelor's degree in art education from Longwood College. Afterwards, she participated in graduate study in art education at Virginia Commonwealth University. Susan Ober graduated at the University of North Florida in 1996, where she earned a BFA degree with a concentration in drawing and painting. [1]
