Keith Doles is from Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from the University of North Florida in 2001 with a BFA in Graphic Design. Doles works in a range of mediums including graphic design, painting, and wood sculpture. In 2005, Doles earned his master's degree from Webster University.
From 2006 to 2012, Doles produced commercial art for web designers and small businesses from Florida to Wisconsin. Projects included prototype drawings, logos, and illustrations for children's books and magazines.
In recent years, Doles taught a series of graphic design courses, fine art workshops, painting demonstrations, and artist talks for various schools and art organizations. In 2015, he was a part-time fine arts instructor at the University of North Florida where he taught several painting and drawing courses in the Continuing Education Department for five years. In 2016, he became a resident artist at the CoRK Arts District in Jacksonville.
Doles is represented in galleries bicoastally. He has been published three consecutive times by ArtWanted.com and in 2013 was honored as a Featured Artist at the semi-annual A Brush with Nature. His work can be found in public institutions, as well as in private collections.
