Certified as a Florida Master Naturalist in 2014 and trained as a Botanical Illustrator at the New York Botanic Gardens (1997-99), Crooks graduated from the University of North Florida in 1989.
Sarah Crooks is a teaching artist, that with the goal to empower people of all ages to cultivate their sense of place, guides dynamic workshops, outdoor excursions, and deep creative play. Crooks has created award-winning curriculum for arts integration in the K-12 classroom and beyond, including Master Artist residencies with Douglas Anderson School of The Arts, The Museum of Science and History and Duval County Public Schools.
