One of downtown Jacksonville’s most popular destinations, NOLA MOCA offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience—serving upscale bistro fare in a relaxed setting.

Perfect for business lunches, celebrations, intimate dates, or happy hours, NOLA MOCA serves high-quality, fresh-made dishes inside downtown's landmark museum, MOCA Jacksonville. The menu features seasonal entrées and daily crafted versions of grilled cheese, flatbread, pasta, quiche, soup, and desserts. NOLA MOCA received a Snail of Approval from Slow Food First Coast in 2013 for its contributions to the quality, authenticity, and sustainability of the food supply of the First Coast region of Florida. The entire menu bursts with locally procured greens, herbs, fruits, nuts, cheese, meats, and seafood.

Enjoy your complimentary warm house-made yeast rolls served with a flavored butter inspired by seasonal produce. Don't pass up any special that includes the classically southern pimento cheese or Korean-fried chicken. Two kinds of chicken salad and the shrimp and grits are customer favorites. The salads are inventive combinations of flavorful, hearty ingredients. Hot entrées range from filet mignon to vegan paella.

Lunch

Lunch is served 11 a.m.-2 p.m. weekdays. The menu includes a wide variety of sandwiches, including two kinds of chicken salad and a daily grilled cheese creation—all customer favorites. The salads combine a fresh, local greens with hearty seasonal ingredients. Try the daily flatbread as a starter or for your entree. Pair it with the scratch-made soup of the day. Have a fresh-brewed cup of coffee before you head back to work.

Dinner

Dinner is served Thursday evenings and during Downtown Art Walk on the first Wednesday of each month. The first seating is at 5 p.m. The menu includes dinner-sized portions of entrées perfect for a night on the town. Try the filet mignon, seasonal fried chicken, or shrimp and grits. Pair your meal with a season glass of wine, a locally brewed beer, or a hand-crafted cocktail. Don't forget to finish with dessert!

Originally from Chicago and a graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu School in her native city,  Kathy Collins has been with NOLA MOCA since 2005. Serving seasonal foods and creating custom menus for catered events at MOCA Jacksonville give her intimate knowledge of what clients crave. Appearances on television, charity events, and the Publix Aprons Cooking School keep her involved with the community. Her efforts to find local products, use the freshest possible ingredients, and grow some of her own herbs and vegetables have awarded NOLA MOCA a Snail of Approval from Slow Foods First Coast.
