Fuel a bold new future

The Director’s Circle of the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville is a dedicated group of benefactors who provide vital philanthropic support of the institution’s Permanent Collection, exhibitions, and programs.

It’s through the financial leadership of these individual donors that MOCA Jacksonville remains a successful and sustainable endeavor.

Through their generous annual support, Director’s Circle donors have the opportunity to turn MOCA Jacksonville’s boldest visions into exceptional realities. Director’s Circle members have the opportunity to connect with the Museum on a personal level while inspiring the continued excellence of our programs.

Purpose and role

During the last four years, MOCA Jacksonville has undergone a period of transformative institutional change. Attendance and contributed income are increasing steadily. A major gift of $5 million has jumpstarted the Museum’s efforts to grow its endowment. Several self-curated exhibitions will travel the country over the next few years. Innovative educational programs have received national recognition.

As MOCA Jacksonville continues to expand the scope and breadth of its exhibition program, collecting interests, and educational initiatives, the generous contributions of Director’s Circle patrons will provide critical funding to achieve these goals. This commitment to Jacksonville’s oldest visual arts organization ensures a more vibrant, artistic, and culturally diverse future for our city.

Association

Museum patrons making an annual contribution of $10,000 or more to MOCA Jacksonville become associates of the Director’s Circle. This contribution can be unrestricted funding or in support of a specific exhibition project or Museum program.

By making this financial commitment, Director’s Circle patrons receive exclusive opportunities throughout the year to engage with contemporary art, working artists, and like-minded advocates of the arts. Director’s Circle patrons also have direct access to MOCA Jacksonville’s leadership and curatorial team.

Gifts from Director’s Circle patrons strengthen and enhance MOCA Jacksonville, and their generosity is rewarded by new acquisitions to view, exciting exhibitions to visit, timely educational programing, and publications to enjoy.
