Joseph Park Moorer is a founding Member of NES, LLC. He holds a bachelor's degree from Emory University. He is a member of the World Affairs Council in Jacksonville, chair of the University of North Florida Foundation Finance and Audit Committee, and holds various leadership roles Chicago and Jacksonville inner-city school initiatives. He has had a lifelong interest in travel and cultural immersion in the Middle East, Centra and South America, Africa, and Southern Asia. He served as a United States Army scout helicopter pilot and has been happily married for twenty-seven years. One of his favorite works of art is James Turrell's City of Arhirit (1980) installation at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
