A World of Their Own: Art with a Heart in Healthcare

MOCA Jacksonville in partnership with Art with a Heart in Healthcare present A World of Their Own, an exhibition featuring three-dimensional artwork created by pediatric patients of Wolfson Children's Hospital.

Caitlin Swindell received a master's degree in art history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2016) where she focused in modern and contemporary American art and twentieth century African-American art. She holds a bachelor's degree in art history and anthropology from Tulane University (2012). Swindell previously worked as an art consultant and gallery assistant in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and during her undergraduate career, she completed internships at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, the New Orleans Museum of Art, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Swindell joined MOCA Jacksonville in April 2017 as a curatorial assistant. She compiles significant art historical research, writes exhibition-related didactics, and identifies prospective loan objects for upcoming exhibitions, among other responsibilities.
